Happy Lazy 4th of July!...
Ever since the weather has warmed, Jack's new summer-time napping spot is on the old wicker settee in our back sun room. He is always sprawled out with all fours up in the air and his big soft belly exposed. It cracks me up (even though the scene is completely covered in black fur!) So, today when I walked through "his" room, he was sporting an American flag under his front paws! Imagine that??! So, out came the camera, and here is the proof..... :)

Too many hotdogs and rootbeers! Too much sun! It all results in indolence and sloth! Happy Fourth of July from Len in Canada. We had Canada Day on the first - lots of indolence and sloth up here as well! Have lots of fun and enjoy the fireworks.

Alright alright Will ~ you busted me! I knew you would.... So, did you get the hidden meaning behind my "lazy 4th of July" post.... Yep, I was too lazy to make Jack a hat. (Actually, it's more like too busy!) So, the flag was an easy substitute... No red, white and blue chapeau for Jack this year, but maybe next!
Glad you all like my big fat black patriotic kitty! Hours later he is still in the same spot! Go figure...

May you find slothfulness in your day today - Jack is remembering all those who fell in honor of our liberty lo these many centuries ago when they signed the Declaration of Independence. May we live up to their deeds of courage and find peace and respect for our land, sea and air!
Wonder if we could get a chorus of ~Yankee Doodle Dandy~ out of Jack?

I love the cat-chirps! My two make a ruckus when the birds are in the yard flaunting about.
